My Work The reason why I do the work I do is because I work hard enough to feel confident about the work that I have accomplished. Also it would make me feel better about any other work that I have to complete which will inspire me to continue to work harder than this project, it’s all about confidence to be working harder. I get most of my hard work from inspiration from other artists and starting off with something simple and working my way up towards my own masterpiece. Something that I also do with my work, is that I also put finishing touches to show how I much work I had put in into the work that I made.
Throughout my process of completing the project, I used strips to hold my structure together. Then I used a pair of colors which were green and blue, the reason for these colors are because they were my favorite ones out of the bunch. The structure that I used was my hand holding a pen and then painting my hand, green and having the base, blue. I also used a lot of the materials that were mandatory to use so I know that I did what I was supposed to do with this project.
After completing my project, I felt that I could do something so much better. I am very excited to start on a new project and plan to work 2 times harder than I did with this one. My current work was affected by the overall feeling I got from this project. I used the same inspiration and confidence to continue to have creativity in other classes and projects that I was doing. Even now I am feeling like I can start a new project having a good idea to start off with. This project shaped the way I feel about creativity.
Hey Manny, I remember in my studio art class (in high school), I had a free choice project of doing whatever I wanted and the only rule was to use color pencils and a particular type of poster-sized paper with a rough surface. It took me a long time to come up with an idea. I remember it took me a week to look at various magazines and books to come up with an idea. I was feeling very nervous and frustrated because my classmates already had an idea and were working on their project. When I finally got an idea to combine two pictures, I was super excited! Then, I played around with it to figure out how I wanted to position it. I remember going through many different sketches to figure out exactly how I wanted it to look. I made my rough draft on my sketch paper and started transferring it to the final paper. I made the deadline, but, it was definitely a long process. When I finished the project, I just couldn't stop staring at it. I was really proud of myself for sticking through the month long process and creating a masterpiece instead of taking an easy way out! When you have a moment, stop by my room (Rm. 457) and ask me to show you a picture of my "Coi" project. By the way, I like the interesting hand position you used.

It's a good thing that you see the interconnections of what we do in different parts of our lives. Nice insight!
